The stories behind it:
Trina Parker (1947–2005) was a dynamic theatre maker and designer whose bold imagination shaped Melbourne’s performance landscape. She created striking works for La Mama, Children’s Arena Theatre, the Last Laugh, and Playbox Theatre. Trina was a key member of Handspan Theatre during the 1980s. Renowned for her artistry and cultural leadership, she became Head of Design at the Victorian College of the Arts in 1991, inspiring generations of theatre artists.
