Teachers’ Professional Development Workshop

Facilitated by award-winning playwright and secondary teacher Megan Twycross, Writer of STUCK (selected for 2026 VCE Drama Playlist)

In line with her VCE Drama Playlisted production STUCK, Megan Twycross will offer a professional development workshop for teachers. Megan shares her years of experience as a theatre maker and teacher to help unlock students’ potential.

Part One unpacks ways to analyse STUCK to support students in preparing for their written SAC and end-of-year exam.

Part Two focuses on how the performance technique of ‘scripting’ can be better used to drive students’ success in Drama, Unit 4, Outcome 2--The Solo Performance.
Megan will also show how to use key conventions and dramatic elements to generate strong performance content. She will provide a template for students to structure their performance piece
