GAS

A group of friends gather to celebrate Lulu's birthday. A night filled with booze, tension and hidden truths. Alex receives repeated phone calls from an unknown person, and one thing is certain: he refuses to answer them in front of his girlfriend, Jules, or the others. The play climaxes in the pressure-cooker dinner party, where these underlying tensions eventually bubble to the surface.

'GAS.' examines the role of defence mechanisms within relationships and how they distort or obscure the truth between individuals.
