The Trojan Horse of 9/11

This is the story of a dream job in New York City that turned into life in the ‘exposure zone’ of 9/11. The personal is always political. But now, cancer has taken more than twice as many lives as those lost on 9/11. The cellular has become geopolitical.
This play is about the iconic event that shocked the complacency out of a jubilant Global North, prematurely declaring the ‘end of history’. The Trojan Horse of 9/11 traces a disintegrating line from hijackers flying planes into the Twin Towers to this post-truth era of global instability.
