A mother and daughter spend the weekend together in the magic of the Australian bush, surrounded by the ghosts of their past
More detailsJoe, Moose, Craig, and Eze have been friends since forever. They’re unlikely friends in the summer of 1993, forced together by the cruel social climate of (just) regional Australia. What else are a couple of queers, an immigrant, and an autistic Catholic going to do for company?
Then a late-night dare goes horribly wrong and the consequences crack the group wide open. The friendship is pushed to its limits, spilling secrets, romance, and chicken salt all over everything.
Coming of age can be really shit when you don’t know where you’re headed.
