Fahrenheit Ammonite

What happens when a pill-popping housewife from a dystopian 50’s novel collides with a talking rabbit who’s been patched into intergalactic radio frequencies? Fed up with her role as the hero’s small-brained spouse in Fahrenheit 451, Mildred Montag accepts a mission to retrieve her nemesis Clarisse, stuck in a distant part of the Universe. Hell-bent on avoiding the male-dominated Western literary canon, Mildred peers into the world of feminist sci-fi and decides that only a time-loop can offer her the liberation she so desperately craves – but where will she find the portal?

It’s strange wondrous, grotesque and literary.

At every level, the execution of the play is first rate. Sometimes clever, sometimes truly inspired.
